FIXNORDIC has supplied the console system for the attachment of solar PV panels on the roof of the Sophie Amalie Gården complex in Copenhagen.

All tasks are different and often require one-off solutions. In this instance, the consoles for the solar PV panels had to be attached to rafters that were much more widely spaced than usual. This required us to design a system that can withstand external forces such as wind and snow, despite having a rafter-to-rafter distance of up to 7200 mm! We developed a brand-new roof-console system for this project with new, reinforced anchor posts that can meet the special requirements (see the drawing in the gallery below). 

We supplied a total of 46 FIXNORDIC consoles for the attachment of 297 solar PV panels , as well as additional, dimensioned load-bearing profiles to comply with the requirement for the wide span between the points of attachment.
